My Super Cub has a long history. When I fist flew it I slammed it into a telephone pole. The pole survived, but my Super Cub was not so lucky. The plane’s rudder was damaged and the band that held the wing on the plane snapped making the Super Cub slam into the ground. I recovered my not so Super Cub and with effort, repaired it, and I continued flying it with some progress. Then a not-one-bit-fatal-crash occurred. My plane was coming right at me when it went between a goal post. Well the darn thing’s prop hit one of the sides of the post and got a little shredded. Like the tips got all bent up. but instead of falling that plane kept going: Same speed same course. I was so stunned I almost made the plane crash, but I didn’t. Don’t blame me, it’s so exceptional to see a plane crash and keep flying, especially in the same direction.

When was that last time you flew that plane, Zack? I bet you are controlling it much better now than you did the first time you flew it! I’m so proud of you – keep up the great work!
What a great story and what a stroke of luck. I was worried the plane was going to hit you, but that pole saved you from being slammed by the crazed plane. You should make a commercial about how durable that plane is and how it can fly after a major accident like this.
Keep having fun… sky’s the limit!
Hands for work, Hearts for God!
HobbyZone Super Cubs are VERY rugged. I love my SC more than any other of my models. Here’s a video of mine flying in strong winds:
