Yes, I have once again changed my plans about the plane. I will now be building a plane that I bought in a hobby shop. It is called an almost ready to fly plane. (ARF) It will look like this:

As you can see, this plane is very nice looking, but ours won’t be exactly the same. We might have a different color, or the wheels might be different for some reason. This is all going to be explained in the assembly, as we go through each part.

The Build Continues

Hello everyone! I have been hard at work looking for the parts for the new plane. It has been a real load! Already, I will have to go to the nearest hobby shop to get certian parts. I also need to figure out how to use a mixer, a mixer is a special part that can blend two controls together. Like if it were a aileron and an elevator, the new control would be a elivon.

The plane is going to be BIG, and I don’t just say that to say that. The nose of the plane is a foot in length! I still need to order all of the parts, so there isn’t much more to say. Have a nice day and keep and eye out for my next big post.

Hello everyone, I have not posted for a while, because we’ve had a masive change of plans. We are not going to build an ultra micro anymore. I am now going to build a plane that will be my biggest and best. The plane will reaman unnamed, but I will give you this, please don’t tell anyone if you know!

Plane Build Part II

Hello everyone! I am happy to say that I have made a large amount of progress on building the plane. I have robbed the Mustang (Violently as in the plane is now in peices. Pictures will be shown), and have tested every single part thoroughly. I have found one glitch, and that is that I need a Y Harness. I will order one in time for next weekends post. Plus I want to have a vote on what the planes name will be. This will be in the next weekends post. You may suggest ideas to be put into the vote if you want to.

The Beggining of the Project

Hello, the plane that I said I would build is coming along well. I will now tell you all of my plans for building this small foamie.

What I will do is buy a balsa wood glider. The one I am getting is called the jetfire. I will trace the body and wing design onto foam. One all of the parts are cut out, I will rob my old ultra micro P-51, and take it’s electronics to use on the plane. I will have to buy one servo, a Y harness, and a special kind of glue. The plane will be four channels, and may be, just may be able to fly indoors. Definitly in my front yard. Now that the plane would be able to fly I would multi-color spray paint it. The colors would be green, blue, yellow, and red. Keep an eye out for my next post in this blue font.
